oil of this type and quality level. Low smoke semi-synthetic formulation
incorporating PIB to ensure good lubricity. Helps prevent spark plug whispering
and corrosion. Excellent ring sticking and high temperature
performance. Fully synthetic engine oils contain 100% non-conventional,
high-performance fluids. Semi-synthetic engine oils (also called
"blends") contain a smaller percentage of these high-performance
fluids in combination with conventional mineral oil. Synthetic oil is a
marketing term that in no way defines the quantity of synthetic content. In
order to make higher quality oils, high-performance oil companies will
essentially develop molecules from scratch, which are then synthesised and
produced free of any mineral or crude oils.
